Crime busters attached at the Kabala police station reportedly went into action this morning to investigate and established the circumstances leading to the alleged murder of one Foday J. Koroma a native of the township and a final year student of UNIMAK.

A friend of the deceased says he was in night club last night and as the club session ends he engaged in dropping off friends in their homes with a motorbike he had accessed from another friend for use that fateful night.

Just this morning, they woke up the news of the discovery of Foday’s remains in a drainage on Gbawuria Rd by one mile area.

The deceased body was discovered with wounds on the head and sides and the bike he was in control discovered some 700 meters from the scene where his body was found.

A police source intimated Provincial Times Newspaper that Murder, Armed robbery and hit and run crash are possible areas they will be investigating.

Kabala, a relatively peaceful town was greeted with polarisation of clique groups attracted in the township largely because of the booming timber trade.

Incidents of phone snatching, house breaking and violence attitude of youths records high in the township crime record.

“The discovery of Foday’s lifeless body will make night life fearful for young people” said on show biz promoter.

Meanwhile, the remains of deceased has since been conveyed to the Kabala hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem examination
