For the first time, a film made by a Ghanaian actor and producer Eddie Watson will be premiered in Sierra Leone.
The movie, ‘She Prayed’, is being premiered in Sierra Leone because the mother of the actor and producer, Watson is a Sierra Leonean.
The movie is set for premier on Saturday, December 5.
‘She Prayed’ centres around the lives of three people, a mother with a Christian religious mission at odds with her only son, an atheist. And a teenage girl in search of answers to religious questions.
The movie features Watson himself, alongside popular Ghanaian actresses Yvonne Nelson and Pascaline Edwards, among others.
The cast of the film will be joined in Freetown by fellow actors and other celebrities from Ghana and Nigeria, including Majid Michel, Beverly Osu, and Melvin Oduah.
Sierra Leone’s First Lady, Sia Nyama Koroma, is billed to attend the premier slated for the Country Lodge in Freetown.
